Gateway Films Ltd. is a creative media company that produces films and video for a variety of purposes. Lynne Fredlund, managing director and producer/director set up Oxford Filmmakers Workshop (now trading as OFVM) a publically funded body in 1976 and is experienced in all types of film and media work. She has produced for mainstream television and for Sky TV as well as working as a multi-skilled filmmaker on other film and video platforms.

She has been awarded grants by Southern Arts film pannel as well as Screen South, the British Film Institute and the British Arts Council.

On leaving the Oxford Filmmakers Workshop she set up a company called Africa Word and Image to produce films in Africa with African filmmakers. In 2002 she set up a publishing company called Friends Print and Media. This is now the book publishing arm of Gateway Films Ltd. All the time she has been painting, writing and making films and television programes.
